Over the years, distributed over 1 Lakh cloth bags free of cost to vendors across Chennai city, making a significant dent in the use of single-use plastics. Now, we set our sights even higher - to collect 1 crore bags and extend this positive change to rural areas , students , awareness drive and many more
As a social worker with over ten years’ experience, I am passionate about helping society and aiding the needy.
I have evaluated and planned several social initiatives over the years, such as Say No to Crackers, He for She, Rise for Rice and Say No to Plastics, all of which exceeded goals and garnered wide-spread support and recognition. During Covid, I launched the Mission 100 Tons of Rice, for free distribution to the needy and vulnerable sections of society.
My strengths include Critical Thinking & Active Listening. I am proactive and capable of working Independently or as part of a team. I believe that empathy is one of the most important qualities in social work. I am confident in taking on a leadership role in projects.
